We're always working towards sustainability here at Swift River Pecans, and our Pecan Finished Beef is an exciting new extension of that work! The process of pressing pecans for pecan oil yields two products- the oil, which we spin remaining sediment out of with a centrifuge, and Pecan Meal, which we either turn into flour, or freeze for future use. This flour has a high protein content, and after a discussion with our friends over at Agrimark Geneticswe chose to feed out a steer on our pecan meal to utilize this high protein, low fat product.
These 1 lb Ribeye steaks are the result of this endeavor! Well-marbled and delicious, all of our cuts of steak are kept frozen in shop to ensure freshness. This product CANNOT be shipped, and is ONLY available for pickup.
