Pecan Orchard Tour - Autumn

This Pecan Orchard Tour will take you on a guided 1.5-hour tractor ride through our improved and native pecan orchards along the San Marcos River in Fentress, Texas. Though this tour is mainly for enjoying the beauty of our orchards and native riverbottom woodland, it is also educational in nature and will include 5 brief stops where your tour guide will show and discuss topics including bathouses, composting, and honeybees, improved pecan trees, giant native pecan trees, and the San Marcos River.

Your purchase of a ticket includes 1/4 lb of our award-winning pecans and a water bottle to enjoy on the tour, as well as a tour map and a 5% off coupon for any online purchase (single use).

This tour is limited to 24 participants. Tickets may be purchased online to reserve your spot (recommended), or in person at our store 1 day before the start time of the tour if seats are available.

Tour Day Instructions

Please arrive at our retail store and present your physical or digital ticket at least 30 minutes before the start of the tour. Once you check in, you will be given a map, water bottle, and pecans. You will then have to make the short drive to our orchard, park your vehicle, and board the farm trailer (seating provided). For your safety, you must remain seated during the entirety of the tour.

Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket for this tour, you acknowledge that you will be entering a working farm and agree to not hold VNS & CLS Farms LLC and Swift River Pecans LLC, its properties, employees, and any of its related entities responsible and or liable for any damages to your person or property.

Pets

Pets of any kind are not allowed on any of our scheduled tours.

Children

For the time being, only children ages 8 and up will be allowed entry on the tour.

Ticket Policy

Refunds

Tickets are fully refundable up to 48 hours before the start time of the tour.

Tour Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel tours for weather-related events, or any other reason. A canceled tour will result in a full-refund regardless of our 48-hour refund policy.
